The Bedford J type (J Series/TJ exact model TBC) Crew Bus was used by the RAF for personnel transport. This photo has COT abbreviation in the description possibly meaning Control Operational Training or similar? Registered as 13AC47, this vehicle was photographed at an RAF site in 16th March 1967. Known for its durability, it served crucial logistical roles in military operations.

These images have been carefully restored from the original vintage negatives. Significant blemishes and scratches have been addressed where possible, and contrast has been adjusted to bring the images as close as possible to their original state. This collection is incredibly rare, potentially featuring prototypes, early versions, or variants. This image features white paint or correction fluid used to cover parts of the photograph for publishing purposes. The white paint been used for text at the bottom of negative: COT. RAF. 9523G16 16MAR67. HT Vehicle 12AC47 REST D.
